The Web Hosting Test Begins!
My adventure with Valueweb.com has begun!
I can't get the Windows Media Movies to stream, because the server is not sending the correct info off to the web browser. This is becasue the MIME type for the .wmv files are not setup in the Apache server srm.conf file as: video/x-ms-wmv.
I tried to e-mail and ask for them to add this to their Apache server config file and I got the typical tech support response "we don't support streaming"?!?!?! What the HELL!!! LOL!!!
Looks like if this doesn't improve in the next few days I might be going back with Dreamhost. At least they know what the heck they are doing with their servers. I may also just build my own server, since Speakeasy will let you run them on their broadband. I just have to get a new wireless/broadband router if I go that route.
Had a nice day off today and ate a big lunch at Red Robin. Burp! Also went and hung out with Ma & Pa, and saw Kaylee, Mindy, Grandpa Goins, and Grandma Cook! Now I'm sitting on my rear! Hee Hee. No work until Friday! Yipee!!
